Job Detail Information
Job Description

-Processing of daily counter transactions for deposit/withdrawals to savings, current and fixed deposits accounts (involving cash, cheques, passbook maintenance, inter-account transfers) and handling associated customers interactions/inquiries/complaints to a specified standard of quality. This may include servicing of Priority Banking customers at separate counters and may also involve a higher level of specified service standards.

-Cross-selling of simple products (e.g. Fixed Deposits, Cards during non-peak transaction times, and where relevant, identify prospects for cross-selling of other products (from observations of customer transactions) to highlight to sales staff.

Key Roles & Responsibilities
-Processing of daily services relating to FX and NGN inter branch transfers in respect of cash transit.
-Ensure that cheques both in-house and other bank cheques are processed with accurate value date.

-Issuance of cashier orders to customers based on customers' instructions
-Posting account to account transfers.
-Processing of outward clearing cheques.

-Posting of standing orders/payroll/card merchant transactions to customer accounts.
-Processing of Transfers based on customers instructions.
-Ensure adequate physical control/safeguard of blank NGN and FX booklets in till box.
-Processing of customers¿ deposit e.g. fixed, call, etc.
-ATM cash loading, statistics and reconciliations.
-General filing

-Other functions as may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications & Skills
-B.Sc University degree(2:2 Minimum).

-Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
-Salesmanship, energy and drive.
-Strong knowledge of administrative procedures.
-Good knowledge of transaction processes.
-Demonstrate a highly customer oriented focus.

- In compliance with the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Act of 2004, all applicants should ensure that they have completed the mandatory NYSC programme. A discharge certificate will be required as evidence of completion of the programme. Where an exemption has been granted, a certificate of exemption will also be required.
