An educational organization with nursery, primary and secondary schools spread over the Lagos Metropolis and its environs urgently requires suitable and qualified candidates to fill the following positions:

STORE MANAGER (Ref: VCED/209)

RESPONSIBILITIES
The candidate will report to the Executive Director of the School and shall formulate and ensure effective implementation of policies and procedures through efficient and purpose driven processes. He/She will relate to Stores Officers in various locations of the School and shall be responsible for:
• Inventory management and effective stock control in strict compliance with policies and procedures
• Ensuring the availability of the right quality of materials in the right quantity at the right time for the stakeholders
• Match best practices in materials management and ensure professionalism in stores management
• Carry out periodic due diligence activities in stores management
• Professional management of data input and management information reporting
• Asset management – capture and monitoring
• Staff growth and development

EXPERIENCE, SKILL AND QUALIFICATION
The ideal candidate should possess:
• A good degree in a relevant numeric or social science discipline
• A masters degree in Business Administration, or a professional qualification in Purchasing and Supply Management, ICAN will be n added advantage
• Must have a minimum of five (5) years relevant function, with at least two (2) years in a leadership position
• Good computer skills and working knowledge of relevant software.
• Good leadership, communication, analytical and Interpersonal skills .
• Must be between 35 -40 years old

PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS
• Must be trustworthy, reliable
• Must have integrity

STORE OFFICER (Ref: VCED/2010)

RESPONSIBILITIES
The candidate will report to the Head of Stores with the following duties:
• Ensure effective stock management and stores administration in the Central Office under approved guidelines
• Ensure proper recording of all receipts in compliance with the purchase order
• Ensure issues are made only to properly authorized requisitions
• Ensure proper storage of materials against deterioration
• Ensure documentation of stock movement
• Carry out periodic checks on fixed assets inventory
• Carry out periodic listing of slow moving, obsolete and unserviceable items
• Ensure effective inventory and stock control
• Ensure up to date posting, stocktaking and stock replenishment.

EXPERIENCE, SKILL AND QUALIFICATION
The ideal candidate should possess:
• HND in numeric discipline
• Pursuit of Professional qualification of the Nigerian Institute of Purchasing & Supply Mgt/lCAN
• Must possess 3 – 5 years relevant or numeric function
• Computer skills in Word and Excel, must have Interpersonal skill
• Must be between 28 – 35 years old
