Job Title: COMMISSIONING ELECTRICAL POWER MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

Job Description:Provide technical support for commissioning of the Plant’s generating system, distribution system and power users. Broad experience with power generation equipment, distribution systems and electrical users.Assist with set up and commissioning of Power management systems. Strong track record of resolving problems in start-up mode under pressure situations.

Reviews and controls proposed modifications or additions to plant distribution system, which may be required during initial commissioning and start up of the PMSAssist with control systems and Programmable Logic Control’s that help manage interface.Assist with communication systems as most of the equipment is situated remotely and the various elements talk to each other via remote linksRequired Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma in Electrical Engineering discipline.

Candidates must have a minimum of Second Class Lower division for Bachelors degree and Upper credit for Diploma certificates.Required Skills:Excellent technical and analytical skills;Good oral and written communication skills;

Demonstrated organizational and interpersonal skills;Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite of SoftwareExperienceMinimum of five (5) years in electrical power management system or eight (8) for candidates with diploma.
